The Wanton Bishops

The Wanton Bishops are a two-piece blues and garage rock revival band from Beirut, Lebanon. The band is made up of Nader (vocals, harmonica, guitar, keyboards) and Eddy (guitar, backing vocals, banjo), who are joined on stage and in the studio by a hired drummer and a bassist. Nader met Eddy in a blues bar in Beirut a couple of years ago. Well, technically, they met outside the bar on the sidewalk in the middle of a fistfight. Luckily, they weren’t punching each other, and their friendship developed over cheap tequila. They eventually decided to form a band together.

SandMoon

The band released, in Autumn 2010, their first auto-produced album “raW”, recorded at Tunefork Studio.

At the time, singer-songwriter Sandra Arslanian (piano/vocals) was joined by Tony Abou Haidar (drums), Elia Monsef (guitar) & Nicholas Credli (bass).

In 2010/2011, they performed in Lebanon and Belgium; participated in various festivals, contests and compilations; had airplay in Lebanon and Belgium, ...

After a break period, sandmoon is back…

sandmoon era 2013 is different, as in sound, band members (all except Sandra Arslanian – vocals/piano), design, …

The 2nd album, “Home” is the result of a year of songwriting, joys and tribulations. The nine songs are written and composed by Sandra, but the input of every member of the band has incredibly enriched the piano/vocals basic tune. Though sadcore is still at the core of the album, there are some happier, crazier moments that sugarcoat the initial melancholia. That’s what Home is all about. The album is in the making at Tunefork Studio. Release scheduled for fall 2013.

Meen Band

Meen is a Lebanese rock band with a twist.

The band was founded by Fouad and Toni Yammine, the warped minds behind the quirky lyrics and catchy melodies.

Bandage

Four "too old to be young but not old" friends play punk rock songs with enough melodies on the side. Athens, Greece is our shitty hometown and we're always looking for new places to check out, to hang out with friends and familiar faces and definitely endorse our small independent community in any way we can. Listen to our music and come say hi at our next show !!
