Italian tenor Massimo Giordano enjoys an international career as one of the leading singers  in  the  beautiful  and  highly sought-after bel canto repertoire. He is known for his warm and virile tone, his expressive singing as well as  his  charming  stage  presence. Born in Pompeii, he shortly after moved to Trieste where he studied singing and graduated from the conservatory "G. Tartini".
One  of  his  signature  roles  is  Don  Jose  in Carmen which he sings to great acclaim on opera stages around the world. In addition, his interpretation of the leading tenor parts
In Tosca, La   Traviata, La  Bohème, L’elisir D’amore,  Manon, Don Carlos, Norma or Werther made him a frequent guest on opera and concert stages
with  conductors  such  as  Claudio  Abbado, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Michel Plasson and aside fellow opera singers like Anna Netrebko, Angela Gheorghiu, Elina Garanca, Susan Graham or Nathalie Dessay.
Highlights of  the  2012/2013 season include performances of  Tosca,  Norma  and  Andrea Chenier in Vienna, Carmen at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Norma in Lyon and Munich, La Bohème in Paris and Madama Butterfly at Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Ténor italien Massimo Giordano mène une carrière internationale comme l'un des plus grands chanteurs du bel canto . il est connu pour son ton chaud et viril , son chant expressif , ainsi que par sa présence sur scène et son charme .  Né à Pompéi, il se rendit trè tôt à Trieste , où il a étudié le chant.
Il est diplômé du Conservatoire  "G. Tartini " .
Un de ses rôles fétiches , c'est Don José dans Carmen.  Il chante avec grand succès sur les scènes d'opéra du monde entier. En outre, son interprétation des grands rôles de ténor dans Tosca , La Traviata, La Bohème, L'elixir d'amour , Manon, Don Carlos , Norma ou Werther fait de lui un invité fréquent des salles d'opéra et de concert.
