Gianni Versace spent over £28 million renovating the 3 leveled building after he purchased it in 1992.
His death was on July 15, 1997 surprised the fashion world. He was shot at point blank range on the steps of his Miami mansion by serial killer Andrew Cunanan.
Andrew was 27 years old and had previously killed at least 4 other people over three months before shooting the charismatic designer.
But he avoided justice by committing suicide after 8 days of taking the life of Gianni.
