A Norwegian, Kiel Elvis, simulated the late American singer, Elvis Presley, who broke the world record in singing “Rock and Roll King”
for 50 hours, 50 minutes and 50 seconds during a live music marathon over the Internet breaking the old world record that has been set by German Thomas “Curtis”.
Kiel started singing on Thursday morning eight o’clock local time in a bar in central Oslo.
His business manager said he avoided drinking coffee to stand for two nights and began drinking juices and eating energy bars
that allowed him to continue and preserve his voice, which had been rough in recent hours.
The artist had appealed for donations on the event’s website, part of which would go to building hospitals in Burma.
