GUNS N ROSES with special guests ZZ Top and Rose Tattoo

McManus Entertainment regrettably announces it must move the Guns N’ Roses concert on 13 March 2013 from Hunter Stadium to Newcastle Entertainment Centre. All tickets purchased for the previously announced venue will be honoured at Newcastle Entertainment Centre. The change of venue was brought about due to a scheduling clash at Hunter Stadium. Existing tickets purchased for Hunter Stadium will be reallocated into the same category at Newcastle Entertainment Centre. PROticket and Ticketmaster will contact ticket purchasers to inform them of the change of venue. Seats purchased through either outlet will need to be exchanged for new tickets at Newcastle Entertainment Centre box office. Patrons with seated tickets living outside the Newcastle area can have their new tickets mailed out by contacting Newcastle Entertainment Centre. The tickets can be exchanged from Monday 25 February onwards, although patrons are encouraged to do this prior to the event to prevent delays at box office on the night. PROticket and Ticketmaster will also offer refunds to affected customers if preferred. Tickets for the new venue go on sale through Ticketek at 9am on Tuesday 19 February.

McManus Entertainment is delighted to announce a second and final Guns N’ Roses / ZZ Top / Rose Tattoo show in Melbourne at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday March 16th. Don’t miss your last chance to see this explosive show!

Hard rockers Guns N’ Roses were last in Australia in 2010 but haven’t played to Melbourne audiences since 2007. Guns N’ Roses are Axl Rose, DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrrer (drums).

Guns N’ Roses continue to tour the globe and have played to millions of fans worldwide. They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide since forming in 1985.

Guns N’ Roses’ special guests on their Australian tour are the legendary Texan trio, ZZ Top. ZZ Top’s image has been as unchanging and memorable as their music. ZZ Top have been together for more than 40 years and were inducted by Keith Richards into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. The band’s iconography – beards, cars, girls and that magic keychain – transcend all bounds of geography and language. They’ve been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms and are true rock icons. Billy F Gibbons is one of America’s finest blues guitarists while Dusty Hill on bass and Frank Beard on drums (ironically the only member without a beard) provide the ultimate rhythm section support.
