Last night (26/7/2013), Byblos International Festival welcomed to its stage one of the most successful rock bands ever.
Even though this is supposed to be their “farewell” tour, the Scorpions don’t look like they’re ready to hang it up anytime soon.
No frills. No gimmicks. No fancy special effects. After 45 years, Scorpions frontman Klaus Meine and the rest of the band know who they are and delivered what they do best: straightforward, chest-pounding rock & roll.
Scorpions have written the soundtrack to our lives.
Hits like “Still Loving You” or “Wind of Change” have stood the test of time to become anthems of at least 3 generations.
These legends played their best hits yesterday in Byblos as part of their sold-out farewell tour.
It’s hard to believe this may be the last time we will ever see the Scorpions in Lebanon. If Friday night were any indication, they’re simply having too much fun to give it up.
They’ve still got the sting and they will “Rock you like a hurricane” again tonight.
