Imagine you are at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards surrounded with many A-list celebrities and suddenly on the stage appears Micheal Jackson! Big "Thriller" !!!
Everyone was stunned after seeing the hologram of the late Micheal Jackson and were surprised how much it looked real.
The King of Pop was dancing his Trademark Moonwalk and singing to his new song "Slave to the rhythm" off his album "Xscape". This album was released on May 2 featuring eight previously unreleased songs from Jackson that were recorded between 1983 and 1999.
Everyone was in tears after seeing the artist perform.
Check it out for yourself.
On one side, this captivating technology is intriguing to everyone. The idea that a combination of fine mesh and precise optics can project a moving lifelike being is mind-blowing.
But on the other, Micheal Jackson's hologram doesn't beat the Live show. He was famous for his costumes and choreography.
This technology will start to play a larger role in live music. Ever since a 2pac hologram stunned the crowd at Coachella back in 2012, there have been numerous reports of other deceased stars making a stage comeback using the illusion.
That said, which star would you like to see?
