Jessica Alba poses with a shirtless Zac Efron backstage at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday (April 13) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old actress, along with Rita Ora, presented the award for Best Shirtless Performance to Zac for his work in That Awkward Moment.

Jessica had a little bit of trouble with the pronunciation of Zac‘s last name and said “Eeefron.”

Watch the video below to check out the moment

We have to say this wasn’t nearly as bad as John Travolta‘s butcher of Idina Menzel‘s name though!

Oops! Jessica Alba caused herself some embarrassment after she mispronounced Zac Efron's name at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night

Luckily for Jessica, the hilarious fumble was then covered up by Rita Ora who ran back onstage during Zac's acceptance speech to rip off the hunk's shirt.

Though the singer sheepishly closed Zac's top afterward, the That Awkward Moment star went along with the moment and took his shirt off completely much to the delight of the crowds.

As he flexed the muscles which won him the accolade, it looked like Jessica's stumble might be all but forgotten.

The trio posed backstage after they left the stage and Jessica's facial expressions could have suggested she realised her error.

As name fumbles go, it wasn't quite as bad as Travolta's mash-up of Idina's now famous moniker.

And Jessica wasn't the only person to fluff her lines at the star-studded event.

Amanda Seyfried struggled to read the autocue after taking out her contact lenses, and Cameron Diaz messed up a movie title.

And the winner is: Jessica was on hand to present the award for Best Shirtless performance alongside singer Rita Ora

After The Other Woman star presented The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's Josh Hutcherson with the award for Best Male Performance she said: 'We also have to congratulate Jennifer Lawrence for taking home the popcorn for Best Female Performance for Hunger Games: Catching Fires,' rather than Catching Fire.

Jessica looked flawless as she arrived at the award ceremony, which was held live at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Teaming a puffy lemon high-waisted Kenzo skirt with a tiny white strapless crop top by Piece D'anarchive, the mother-of-two wowed in her spring ready outfit.

Completing the ensemble with black and white patterned Jimmy Choo court shoes, the 32-year-old would have been hoping to leave an impact her sartorial display as opposed to her error.

'Zac Ee-fron': Jessica smiled as Zac made his way to the stage to accept his award

Embrace the sunshine in a yellow skirt like Jessica's

The red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards is always a lot more relaxed than other red carpets. While we might not have the drama of floor length gowns we do get more youthful and wearable looks to devour.

This outfit on Jessica Alba for example is what it's all about. It's flirtatious and fun but it's still event appropriate. And while the skirt is from Kenzo's forthcoming AW14 collection, the bold shade of yellow is perfect for wearing right now.

Thanks to Creative Directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, Kenzo has become a cult label that the coolest kids want to be seen in. They have a bright and humorous aesthetic that never takes itself too seriously and has been much copied.

We'll have to wait until the end of summer for Jessica's skirt to be available so in the meantime why not take a look at the high street options we've found below. Asos and French Connection have our top picks of this full box pleat style. Wear with a cropped top like Jessica or tuck in a crisp shirt for the office. And of course, don't forget the heels!

Let me help you: Rita forcefully undressed movie hunk Zac Efron after presenting him with the award for Best Shirtless Performance

OUUUUUUUUUCH! Zac Efron topeless moment

Other big winners on the night included Mila Kunis, who further fuelled pregnancy rumours as she unintentionally held her baby bump protectively when accepting her award for Best Villian.

Her Jupiter Ascending co-star Channing Tatum was given the Trailblazer award while Best Movie Of The Year was won by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The MTV Movie Awards 2014 will air in the UK on MTV Live HD at 10pm on April 14.

You're welcome: Zac was happy to take in the crowd's cheers before leaving the stage
