Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have had a rough year to say the least and it seems that the 'We Can't Stop' singer is dealing with the seemingly constant specter of a break up in her own way. Namely, through diet and exercise.
A source who spoke to Heat Magazine said, "Her diet and exercise regime has become like a religion - it's what's getting her through one of the more stressful times of her life."
However, that same source is worrying that Miley may be taking her stress-relieving regimen too far. It has been reported that Miley only eats egg whites and raw fruits and vegetables and there is talk that she hits the gym two hours a day. On top of this, sources claim that Miley does a 5-mile run, three times a week.
"But she can't carry on this way. People are scared she'll make herself ill," the Heat insider added.
Apparently, Liam doesn't like that Miley is flaunting her new, fit frame around.
"They've had a lot of fights about it ... Miley doesn't think Liam has any right to tell her to tone it down. He plays different characters for his career and this is the character she's playing right now for her career," an unnamed source told Perez Hilton.
"She has made some adjustments because she wants to keep the peace. It might not look like it, but she toned down a lot of stuff in her We Can't Stop video. It's a hard line to walk because she's trying to be respectful to Liam but also be true to herself as an artist," the insider added.
