Kate Winslet is expecting a baby with husband Ned Rocknroll.
A spokesperson for the 37-year-old star confirmed the news to MailOnline on Tuesday and said the couple are 'delighted'.
The child, Kate's third, will be the first for Kate and her husband of six months, and is due later this year.
The spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Kate and Ned are delighted. The baby is due at the end of the year.
The Titanic actress is already mother to daughter Mia, 12, and son Joe, both from previous marriages.
Mia's father is Jim Threapleton, to whom Kate was married from 1998 until 2001.
Kate met her son Joe's father Sam Mendes in 2001 and the couple married in 2003, before welcoming their son later that year.
The British beauty separated from the film director in 2010, with the pair divorcing shortly afterwards.
While on a holiday to Necker Island in 2011, Kate met her current husband Ned, who was born Ned Abel Smith, before legally changing his name.
Ned, who is Richard Branson's nephew, works for the space-travel branch of the Virgin empire.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine in March, Kate credited becoming a mother for teaching her to have an 'abiding inner strength'.
She said: 'I think I can see more clearly now - about how the pattern of past experiences has shaped who I am, and the characters I have played - and I’m grateful for that.'
And in a previous interview, Kate said she always wanted to raise her children to be respectful of others - despite being the offspring of one of the world's most famous actresses.
She explained: 'I always want them to be regular kids who are grateful and respectful of other human beings. I want them to know that when we fly first-class, that they are lucky.
'The highest compliment I could ever receive about my kids - and I can say that this does happen frequently - is when the in-flight crew say to me, "Your children are wonderful. They are so well-behaved." Every time I am told that, I could weep.'
